Review on: MAC - mineralize skin finish in deep dark
 I use MAC's Deep Dark Mineralize Skinfinish powder. I use it with Studio Tech NC50 as my everyday powder. The combination of the two give just that amount of coverage I'm looking for without that pasty look.
Pros:
Great coverage, last all day
Cons:

Review on: MAC - Studio Tech Compact Foundation
 I use Studio Tech NC50, I love it!! Studio Tech gives just the amount of coverage I want, does not feel heavy on my face. I use it as my everyday foundation. I have had problems in the past finding a foundation that does not make me look like a ghost.
Pros:
Coverage, does not feel heavy

Review on: MAC - Sheertone Blush in Loverush
 I have had problems finding a good blush that does not make my cheeks too pink or get seen before I do. I prefer a subtle look, so I gave MAC's Loverush try, it's a very faded burgundy color. I load my brush and give it a couple of taps to get rid of the extra and that gives just the amount of coverage that I want. I would recommend this shade for darker complextions.
Pros:
MAC, stays on, pretty shade
Cons:

Review on: MAC - charming garnet :glamour basics
 " A wine satin zip-around wallet with red-orange patent stripes. Includes regular-sized iridescent powder in Belightful, and Slimshine lipcolour in Bare. Features a mini Zoom Lash Mascara in Zoomblack along with the 181SE Mini Buffer Brush. Limited edition. "
the iridescent powder in belightful when i first opened it scared me! i thought way to much glitter! ew!
but i wanted to use it before i decided i hated it . I used the 181 it came with and the 168 and on both cases i shook off the excess and it looked great i actually like it after dusting off the glitter its fine not something to rave about tho.
the 181 buffer brush i love this brush if you use mineral makeup i highly recomend this it gives me a flawless finish.
the lipstick that came with it slimshine in bare is the cutest color. its my first lipstick from mac and am happy with it i will definately in the future try another one out.
the mascara definately is good but i cant wear it i like it but NO i cant.
it makes my eyes burn even an hour after applying it , too bad. I ordered this set online and came out to about 40 bucks not bad. BUUUTT the exciting part for me was that it came with the eye pencil in eye funk it was just nice because i wasnt expecting it and it wasnt listed in the set that this was in it , i know its suppose to be in little darlings holiday set eyeliners. all i know is i know other people got it also. being a person who HATED pencil eyeliners.. i really like this one ..its not like the cheapy drugstore brands that are really dry and chalky that ive tried it glides on so im happy about that the only thing i dont like is that it runs after a while.
Pros:
great set
Cons:

Review on: MAC - adoring carmine 4 face brushes
 so0o im super excited about this set of brushes ! most of all because of the 187!
let me start off by saying these arent the larger sized brushes these are short handles and compared to the bigger sized handle ones .. i wouldnt know how to compare them to since these are my first set of mac brushes.
they are really realllyyy cute i got the 2008 set (red handles)
the 187duo fibre brush... the first day i used it shed so much it scared me!
second day it hasnt so thats good. i cant say i know how to use 100 %
its a learning process for me since ive never used a 187
ill update on that brush later!
the second one is the 190 foundation brush , all i can say is WOW i love it i have a large revlon one i thought was ok but wow do i love this brush , it doesnt leave any lines or uneveness like my revlon one. i love it i cant say enought good things about it plus its only a holiday set brush and ive heard theyre not as good as the regular sized ones so i can only imagine how much better the regular sized 190 is .. !! ..
ok moving on to the 168 angled contour brush. i havent actually used it for contouring yet ive used it with my iridescent pressed powder in belightful also a mac product. and i really love this brush too. theyre all so nice and soft!
last but not least my 194 all i can say is it gets the job done im not reall big on concealer brushes since i dont really use them but i do like it .
Pros:
everything about it is great
Cons:
187 shed a lot the first time

Review on: MAC - 182 brush
 ::: The Product :::
M·A·C 182 Buffer Brush is described by the company as "A full, dome-shaped brush of extra soft goat hair. Specially created to flawlessly blend powder onto the skin for an immaculate polished finish. Excellent for all M·A·C powders and pigments." I've seen some descriptions specifically say "Japanese goat hair," but I'm not sure this is true.
The brush comes in a plastic cover, which can just be tossed. Unless you want to keep the brush in the casing, but I'd recommend a kabuki case for that instead. The brush handle is approximately 1.25" in diameter, and 1.25" in length. The hairs measure approximately 1.25" from the base end of the handle to the tips. The handle states "M·A·C 182" along the side, and the back says "China."
::: My Experience :::
As I said, this is by far the best kabuki brush I've ever used! It's soft, soft, soft! My mineral makeup application is flawlessly and evenly distributed. No worries about having too much excess in one spot as opposed to another.
My trick for using this is to use a separate dish, like a petri dish, to dispense some mineral makeup into, and then dot the brush to evenly coat the hairs. Then, as you're supposed to do, I swirl the brush around in the dish using even swirls (i.e. 5 swirls clockwise, and another 5 counter-clockwise). Then I tap the brush against the side of the dish or sink to tap loose anything loose. I apply my makeup using clockwise and counter-clockwise motions alone one side of my face and forehead. Then I repeat the whole process for the other side using a tad less makeup since I only need to do the other side of my face and eyes. Granted, that might've been more of a description of how I apply my makeup, but I haven't had any issues using the brush in this fashion. I also use the brush to apply my M·A·C Mineralize Skinfinish Natural.
I haven't had a lot of shedding from my brush, which is a definitely plus! The Bare Escentuals Full Coverage Kabuki left LOADS of hairs all over me and my clothes. Not to mention, the hairs seemed to get stuck in my pores (yeah, it felt like fiberglass all over my face), and that's not an issue I've experienced with my M·A·C 182 Buffer Brush.
As for washing the brush, I normally spray it with brush cleanser, and then swirl it around in my hand until it lathers up. Then I rinse the brush until there are no further traces of brush cleanser/suds, or the water runs clear when I squeeze out the excess. I then dry the brush on it's side. I've been using M·A·C Brush Cleanser, and it seems to take a while for the brush to dry when I use it. I have to wash it on Friday evening to know it's completely dry and ready to be used on Monday morning for work. I've just purchased Clinique's Brush Cleanser, so I'll have to see if it dries any faster as I've heard it can with brushes.
The only "negative" I can say about this brush is that after it's been washed, it seems that the first few applications require me to use a lot more mineral makeup to get the same coverage. It could just be my imagination, but I've also heard of this happening to others who use a different brand brush.
::: Purchasing & Pricing Information :::
The M·A·C 182 Buffer Brush retails for $45 from M·A·C stores/counters, and on their website (www.maccosmetics.com). I do not advocate purchasing M·A·C brushes from eBay, as there are a lot of fakes out there. While they may seem legitimate, it's actually rare to get an authentic M·A·C brush on eBay. So, while the price seems insanely expensive, it's worth it in the long run to me. (To learn more about fake M·A·C brushes, do a web search for information from either eBay - avjwc has a good reivew - or Specktra.net)
::: Recommendation :::
If you're looking for an ultra soft buffer/kabuki brush for applying mineral makeup, pressed powders, or any facial product, then I HIGHLY recommend the M·A·C 182 Buffer Brush! I honestly don't know what I'll ever do without mine, or what I did before it! My makeup applies flawlessly and evenly, and I don't end up with brush hairs all over my face. Definitely worth the $45!
Pros:
Softer than most kabukis; evenly applies mineral makeup
Cons:
Cost

Review on: MAC - Prep + Prime Skin
::: The Product :::
M.A.C. Prep+Prime Skin is a facial primer you use before applying makeup. Primers are supposed to help smooth the skin, and create a base for your makeup. Some claim to reduce the appearance of pores, and some do help mattify your skin as well. Also, primers serve as a barrier between your skin and your facial makeup.
M.A.C. describes Prep+Prime Skin as "An ultra-fluid lotion formulated with special-effect silicones. Calms and soothes the skin, blots away excess oil, and evens out skin redness. Improves the laydown and application of
foundation or powder."
The primer comes in a black airless pump bottle, which measures approximately 4.5" tall and 1.25" wide. The front of the bottle states, in white writing, "M.A.C. Prep+Prime" at the top, and "Skin Base Visage 30ML/1.0 US FL OZ" on the bottom. The back of the bottle contains the product name and a warning in English and French, as well as company information. The primer itself comes out as an iridescent white color, but dries to a clear finish.
M.A.C. also has Prep+Prime Face Protect SPF50, but I've been told it's more of a sunscreen than primer. Needless to say, I haven't tried it and have no intentions on trying it.
::: The Ingredients :::
Water/Aqua/Eau, Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, Polysilicone-11, Sucrose, Isopentyldiol, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Gellidiela Acerosa (Algae) Extract, Morus Bombycis (Mulberry) Root Extract, Hypnea Musciformis (Algae) Extract, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Fruit Extract, Poria Cocos Sclerotium Extract, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, Amorphophallus Konjac Root Powder, Laminaria Saccharina Extract, Algae Extract, Caffeine, Tocopheryl Acetate, Butylene Glycol, Caprylyl Glycol, Hexylene Glycol, Potassium Sorbate, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Magnesium Myristate, Sodium Hyaluronate, PEG/PPG-18/18 Dimethicone, Saccharide Isomerate, HDI/Trimethylol Hexyllactone Crosspolymer, Silica, Polysorbate 20, Alumina, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Polyethylene, Phenyl
Trimethicone, Sialyllactose, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Phenoxyethanol
Prep & Prime Skin may contain:
Mica, Iron Oxides, Titanium Dioxide, Bismuth Oxychloride
::: My Experience :::
I have tried a few facial primers, as I mentioned earlier. I actually held out on trying M.A.C.'s until earlier this year. I have no idea why it took me so long, but it might be because I was happy with the brand I was previously using. Alas, I finally broke down and decided to try it since it's recommended by a lot of makeup lovers.
I had originally received a sample of Prep+Prime Skin from a friend, and didn't care for it too much. I decided to give it another shot and got another sample from my local M.A.C. counter. Needless to say, I was hooked! I immediately bought some, and haven't looked back since! My skin definitely feels a lot smoother whenever I use M.A.C. Prep+Prime Skin, and I can tell a difference if I don't use it before applying my foundation (which is Urban Decay Surreal Skin Mineral Makeup).
Normally, I wash my face and moisturize my face, then wait about 5 minutes before applying the primer. You have to slowly pump the product out, or else you end up with WAY more than you want. I apply a small dot to my forehead, chin and each cheek, then I kind of "rub" it all in. Quite like you would with a moisturizer. I then wait 5 more minutes before applying my foundation. The wait time between moisturizing and priming is necessary as it gives the products time to sink in, so to speak.
As I just mentioned above, my face feels a lot softer after using M.A.C. Prep+Prime Skin, and my makeup goes on smoother. It doesn't leave an oily/greasy feeling, but instead of a soft powdery feeling.
The only complaint I have is that I wish M.A.C. would put this in a clear bottle so you can see how much you have left. It would really stink to go to use my primer one day only to find out that I don't have any!
::: Purchasing & Pricing Information :::
M.A.C. Prep+Prime Skin is available online, at Freestanding stores, and M.A.C. counters for $23. You might be able to find it on eBay (we all know how much I love that site), but I'm not sure if you'd make a savings as M.A.C. is generally overpriced on eBay. The Face Protect SPF 50 retails for $28.
::: Recommendation :::
I recommend M.A.C. Prep+Prime Skin for anyone who wants a good primer which makes your skin feel softer, as well as to apply your makeup smoother. It's fast drying, so you don't really need to wait before applying makeup, but I do recommend waiting.
Pros:
Fast drying; non greasy; Smoothes skin out
Cons:
Wish the bottle was clear; No SPF (though there is an SPF50 version)

Review on: MAC - Plush lash mascara in black
::: The Product :::
M.A.C. Plush Lash comes the standard black box, and the tube itself is a matte black measuring about 4.25" in length and 0.75" in width. The company name and product are on two "sides" of the tube, with the mascara color, net weight of the mascara, product batch number and company information on the bottom label. Each tube contains 0.3 oz/11 mL. Unfortunately for some, Plush Lash isn't waterproof, but it is available in two colors: Plushblack and Brownette.
M.A.C. states the following about Plush Lash: "A mascara formulated to instantly plump up lashes for extreme voluptuous effect. Works fast. Builds volume smoothly and evenly from root to tip. Delivers a silky, flexible, full fan of lashes. Fluid formula lightly coats lashes one layer at a time without smearing, smudging or clumping. Goes on via an innovative, specially patented wand with a v-shaped groove that prunes the bristles on one side while leaving the other side full and lush. The short bristles coax the lashes upward to an extraordinarily sophisticated yet flirtatious curl, while the other side separates and combs the lashes root-to-tip creating a long, well-defined glamour lash. Volumizing, lengthening, curling, lifting. This mascara features everything you want, with all the top mascara no’s: no clumping, spiking, smudging or flaking."
::: The Ingredients :::
Unfortunately, I no longer have my box to divulge this tidbit of information. And needless to say, M.A.C. Live Chat Reps cannot give me the information, and want me to contact their Global Consumer Communications to find out! However, as soon as I find out, I'll be sure to edit this section of my review!
::: My Experience :::
As you all know by now, I'm a mascara freak. If the product claims to give me long lashes, then I'm willing to buy it if the price is right (sorry, Dior and Givenchy need not apply for this position!). I had previously tried M.A.C. Fibre Riche Lash after hearing how great it was, but I wasn't overly impressed at all. When I read what Plush Lash was supposed to do for lashes, I immediately called my fave M.A.C. MA (makeup-artist) and asked Chris for his honest opinion. He said it was really good, and that sold me right there! Of course I tried it on my next trip to the sole Macy's who carries M.A.C.
I have to say, it was a bit confusing at first! The brush is basically flat on two sides, with your normal roundness of mascara wants on the other two sides. M.A.C. claims the flat side is really short bristles in a V-shape, but it doesn't seem such to me. I mean, there are some bristles, but I wouldn't consider M.A.C.'s description the best. Anywho! The proper technique is to use the flat side to coat the lashes with mascara, and then using the rounded sides to roll the mascara from root to tip. Yeah, I know! MY technique is to wiggle the brush using the rounded side from root to tips, and then use the flat side to give length. Then, if needed, I use the rounded side again going straight up from root to tip. Confuse you? Sorry, but it's almost hard to explain!
I was a tad on the fence about getting the mascara, so I didn't purchase it right away. I actually got it for my birthday when a friend sent it to me as a present. I fell in love with this as soon as I used it! Perfect for my night out! I'm not too interested in volume, but ILOVE length AND soft lashes that don't feel rock hard! This gave me plenty of length with just the right amount of volume. (Something Diorshow claims it can do, but doesn't in my humble opinion) M.A.C. Plush Lash is definitely a staple product of mine, and will always stay in my mascara rotation with the hopes of it never being discontinued. Not only do I have nice long lashes, but I didn't have any clumping, flaking or smudging. Getting Plush Lash off at the end of the night isn't a huge feat either.
::: Purchasing & Pricing Information :::
M.A.C. Plush Lash is available for $12 from M.A.C. counters and stores, as well as online. While it seems like a lot of money for a mascara, consider this: L'Oreal Full Definition Voluminous in a CVS store is $7.50. Diorshow is $23, and L'Oreal H.I.P. Volumizing Mascara is $9.99 in drugstores. Sorry, but I'm willing to pay a tad more for something I know works!
::: Recommendation :::
If you're looking for a great mascara that will live up to its claims, then you definitely want to get your hands on M.A.C. Plush Lash. Though it's not waterproof (which doesn't bother me one bit), it doesn't flake or smudge at all! No raccoon eyes to worry about! Your lashes will not only be long and have slight volume, but they'll also be nice and soft. Almost like your natural lashes were suddenly enhanced overnight!
Pros:
Great mascara for length & volume; No smudging
Cons:
Slightly pricey; Tricky to use mascara wand at first

Review on: MAC - ...
 ::: The Product :::
M.A.C. eyeshadows are almost in a world all of their own! M.A.C. eyeshadows are considered, "highly-pigmented powder. Applies evenly, blends well." There's almost any color you could ever want, and in any shade possible! I mean seriously, you can get any color from a pale cream to a bold, bright yellow... Or, if you want a nice "muted" purple to go with a nice deep black, you're made in the shade!
M.A.C. eyeshadows come in various finishes, which I've broken down for you below (finish descriptions per M.A.C. website):
Matte - Hi-colour pay-off in a no-shine matte finish Matte2 - Intense, opaque matte finish with exceptionally rich colour payoff (pronounced matte squared) Satin - Pure colour in a satin-style finish. Provides a soft subtle non-frost, light-refractive sheen Frost - An iridescent shine that adds a highlight to any colour
Velvet - Soft look finish with high-colour intensity. Has a plush velvety look and feel
Lustre - Smoothly pearlized; intensely frosted with deluxe ultra-fine "conditioned" finish
Veluxe - Superfine pigment rich and very luxe. Supple to apply. Provides silky smooth matte finish
Veluxe Pearl - Vibrantly-toned. Velvety soft. Shimmeringly metallic. Veluxe eye shadow, now overlaid with high-shine pearl
M.A.C. eyeshadows come in a black plastic container with a clear flip-top lid. Special edition eyeshadows sometimes come in different colored containers (i.e. the Lure Collection came in teal containers, and Moonbathe Collection eyeshadows came in a pearlized cream container). Each container measures about 1.5" in diameter, and contains 0.05 oz/1.5g of eyeshadow measuring about the size of a quarter.
::: The Ingredients :::
Talc, Zinc Stearate, Octyldodecyl Stearoyl Stearate, Isostearyl Neopentanoate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Caprylyl Glycol, Hexylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol
Eye Shadows may contain: Silica, Mice, Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxides, Bismuth Oxychloride, Carmine, Chromium Hydroxide Green, Chromium Oxide Greens, Ferric Ferrocyanide, Manganese Violet, Ultramarines, Blue 1 Lake, Red 40 Lake, Yello 5 Lake
::: My Experience :::
I first heard about M.A.C. from my sister about 1-2 years before I actually learned about them. Doesn't make sense? Well, all my sister had was a compact powder, and didn't elaborate as she's not a makeup wearer. When I joined MakeupTalk in 2006, the "M.A.C. Craze" hit me hard! I'd missed out on TONS of collections (I mean, M.A.C. had only been around for about 10 years before I heard of them)! I immediately set to work on obtaining as many eyeshadows as I could!
I can tell you now, the favorites in M.A.C. eyeshadow shades are Shroom (soft muted golden beige with opalescent shimmer - satin), Carbon (intense black - matte), Black-Tied (midnight black with silver white sparkle - velvet), Electric Eel (vivid bright blue flecked with shimmer - satin) and Satin Taupe (taupe brown with silvery bronze shimmer - frost). There's plenty more, but it would take ages to name them all, and faves among users seem to depend on skin tone. I can say my personal favorites are almost all limited edition (LE) shades, so I try my best to not use them! A small word of caution, M.A.C. is good about repromoting colors under new names, or producing colors that are a fraction of a shade off from another color. I always try my hardest to make sure I'm not buying a duplicate color, even though sometimes you don't realize how close two colors are until you've swatched them.
Personally, I'm not too fond of the matte eyeshadows, but then again I'm not fond of matte by any brand really. I've always found them harder to blend than anything with shimmer to it. Alas, the new matte2 eyeshadows are much creamier and easier to blend. While I haven't purchased any yet, I do plan on buying some soon! Lustre eyeshadows seem to have more of a "chunky" shimmer to them, and can be a tad hard to apply evenly or even to blend. Not all lustres are like this, but it seems most are. Satin eyeshadows are close to mattes, but they do have a very slight shimmer to them. Frost... Well, that pretty much says it. They tend to have a frosty effect to them. Velvets seem hit or miss as some seem close to satin finished eyeshadows, and some seem close to lustre eyeshadows. My favorite finish is probably veluxe pearl since they feel like butter when applying, and blend WAY easy! It actually seems to be a favorite finish among many.
Overall, M.A.C. eyeshadows do live up to the claim they're given. They are easy to apply and blend, and a little goes a long way. You'd be amazed at how little product you need on a brush in order to get the job done. The best way to apply them is to pat them onto the lid/eye area. Normally you shouldn't use a "windshield-wiper motion," but there are times it is necessary or can be done without completely washing the color away. I whole-heartedly recommend using an eyeshadow base, such as Urban Decay Primer Potion aka UDPP. It helps the color to look even more vibrant, product lasts longer and doesn't crease either (in most cases, as it's been noticed oily lids and UDPP don't seem to get along well).
::: Purchasing & Pricing Information :::
M.A.C. cosmetics can be purchased online (maccosmetics.com), at counters in select department stores, Pro Stores, or in freestanding stores. Eyeshadows retail for $14.00, but you can also buy them as pans from Pro and Freestanding Stores (without the container) for $10.00! There are some websites (makeup.com) that sell M.A.C. at a slightly discounted rate, but you don't get the variety you would online or in a store. If you really want to take a chance, you can purchase M.A.C. on eBay, but there are TONS of fakes, so you should really "know your stuff" before attempting eBay.
::: Recommendation :::
I definitely recommend M.A.C. eyeshadows if your budget allows for them! The colors are all very versatile, and just because you don't like one finish, doesn't mean you won't like another one. The colors are easy to blend, and it doesn't take much product to get a desired look. Something else I should mention, M.A.C. has a program called Back 2 M.A.C. If you take back six (6) empty product containers (eyeshadows, blushes, brush cleanser bottles, foundation bottles, etc.), you can exchange the empties for a free lipstick - excluding Viva Glam. However, at freestanding and Pro stores, you can get a free lipglass or eyeshadow instead. How's that for incentive? Doesn't make it seem AS expensive in the long run.
Pros:
Easy to blend; wide variety of colors; something for everyone
Cons:
Might be considered pricey to some; Quite a few colors are only a shade or two off from each other

 I bought this color in NW25. I really like this concealer. It blends easily and hides any imperfections. It is definitely not cakey and I will repurchase this product.

Review on: MAC - Hyper Real Foundation

Really good coverage. I found a shade that matched my skin tone exactly. Doesn't look cakey. Provides a little bit of a glow to your skin. However, this product makes me break out every time I have it on all day. I generally just use it if I'm going out only for an hour or two and wash it off when I get home.
Despite it's coverage, I definitely would not purchase again.
Pros:
good coverage. nice fresh look.
Cons:
break outs.

Review on: MAC - Lustreglass in Love Nectar
 This was the first MAC lip product I bought and now I'm scared to go and buy another! The color is REALLY great, I definitely love it! But the texture on my lips was gross. It felt really sticky. I'll wear it until I run out, but for $14, I don't think I'll buy a lustreglass again. :(
Pros:
good color, long wear
Cons:
sticky

Review on: MAC - Holiday 2008-Rose lips set
 This set comes in a red pouch that is really cute and screams retro to me.
Inside come two lipsticks, too swoom for and romacin'. Both colors flatter your lips rather than making them stand out.
Romancin' is darker, so i keep for night looks.
The lipsticks, although gorgeous when worn alone, look better with a bit of lipgloss on top.
I just wish Delicate crush would come in a full size bottle, this lipgloss is gorgeous. It's the only downfall i find to this set.

Review on: MAC - Wet Wild and Wonderful
 This color is the exact same shade of Oh Baby to me. The glitter is replaced with shimmer and it is GREAT! This is a plushglass so there is a little tingle. I have never had a plushglass, and when I put it on I was not aware of the effects. The color can be described as bronze with gold pearl
Pros:
EVERYThiNG
Cons:
nothing

Review on: MAC - Sharkskin
 MAC Sharkskin was my HG of e/s. It was the first m/u tutorial I watch on youtube and I remember thinking why is she putting on e/s under an e/s, but it simple makes e/s pop. There is no other way to describe it. It must be seen to be believed. It could be worn alone, the color is described as Shade description: Swimming sharp polished grey (Frost).
Pros:
versatile
Cons:
none

Review on: MAC - Lipglass in Oh Baby
  Oh Baby was my first MAC product. One of my Sorority Sisters turned me on to it 10 years ago. Eyiiip! My issues with Oh Baby is the glitter is a lil too chunky which is fine but when the lip gloss is all faded away you can still see some glitter and it just looks so juvenile.But this is still a staple of mine I just try not to ever let it fade away. I try to have a backup at all times.
Pros:
Great neutral color, very flattering shade no matter what colors you wear.
Cons:
Chunky glitter

Review on: MAC - Pink Venus
 Pink Venus is a very pretty pink colour with lots of shimmer. I like it but you do need to either pack a lot of this on the lid or apply damp to get the colour to stand out. It does seem to look a tad different to the swatch I did on my hand in the store. Overall, I find this colour a little too light for me, but I love it teamed with a black eyeshadow.
Pros:
shimmery
Cons:
not very good colour pay-off

Review on: MAC - Studio Tech Compact Foundation
 I've been wearing this foundation for a while. I now only wear it when I have a photoshoot because it's too heavy for everyday. It is very heavy on my face and I feel it doesn't look natural. I always seem to break out after a while (after using it). It does serve it's purpose and looks great on film but not for everyday.
Pros:
great on film, perfect looking skin
Cons:
pimples, too heavy
